After a long, lockdown-induced lull, Reilly has returned to its roots and relaunched its one-to-one frame building course. Run by frame building legend and long-time Reilly collaborator, Adrian Parry who has been honing his craft for well over 30 years.
Adrian learned the trade by hanging around the renowned tubing manufacturer Reynolds. Then, under the watchful eye of frame builder Phillip Maynard at the prestigious Roberts Cycles where Adrian built around 1700 custom frames of all shapes and sizes.
He joined Reilly Cycleworks as a frame builder, but his skill and passion for bespoke bikes together with his easy manner was the perfect combination to run the Reilly frame building courses.
Starting back in the workshop with bike enthusiast and proud owner of a shed cum workshop was Rick Easterbrook. He was bought the course as a birthday present by his partner. “I had a great week in a relaxed and friendly environment" he said " learning lots of new skills with Adrian, who is very knowledgeable and patient. I’m now looking forward getting out on the road on an utterly unique bike that I’ll have had the satisfaction of building myself from start to finish.”
Course costs £1999 + materials and paint finishes. To book your place on the next frame building course click here
